Although the palatial Inglewood NFL stadium is still nearly two years from completion Tony Jefferson Jersey , the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers are ready to fill it up.

The Rams will begin season ticket sales in about two weeks for more than 50,000 seats in the under-construction stadium at Hollywood Park, the club announced Thursday. The Chargers will put general season tickets on sale in the first week of October.

The Rams began selling the new stadium's higher-end club seats in March, and chief operating officer Kevin Demoff said they're moving briskly ahead of the stadium's 2020 opening. The other 70 percent of the seating goes on sale shortly for its debut season, with the cheapest seats for Rams games starting at $60 per game with a $1,000 seat license.

Current season ticket holders get the first shot at seats in Los Angeles' first new football-specific stadium in nearly 100 years. Every seat in the arena is likely to be sold as a season ticket with a seat license fee for Rams games, and the most expensive seats in the new sale are going for $200 apiece with a $15 Kendall Fuller Jersey ,000 seat license.

So while single-game sales for the Rams are likely to be limited to standing-room-only tickets, the team is still eager to fill its seats with passionate fans 鈥?preferably fans who are already season ticket holders in the Coliseum.

"That was the most important thing for us, that we don't lose the home-field advantage," Demoff said. "Between the roof and the building being sunk 100 feet in the ground, this building should be loud. This should be a building full of Rams fans, and you'll be able to hear it."

The stadium construction is proceeding briskly, according to Demoff T.J. McDonald Jersey , with some 2,500 workers currently on site and the total progress past the halfway mark to completion. Installation of the massive roof was going on last month while the Rams were playing a preseason game up at the Coliseum against the Houston Texans.

The rest of the 298-acre complex will take longer to finish, and much of it won't be open until after the stadium debuts. That's largely because much of the land that will house the complex's large shopping center, offices and a hotel has been used as storage space for the stadium's construction materials.

Demoff is optimistic everything will be operational by the time Inglewood hosts the Super Bowl on Feb. 6, 2022.

NFL games will be played at Wembley Stadium on three consecutive weekends for the first time because the new home being built for English Premier League club Tottenham won't be ready.

Tottenham said Monday that it would be unable to host the Seattle Seahawks and the Oakland Raiders on Oct. 14 due to "issues with the critical safety systems" at the 62,000-seat stadium in the final stages of construction.

"We appreciate the support our partner the NFL has shown since the extent of this issue became evident today," Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said Monday.

The teams won't have to adjust plans significantly because Wembley Nazair Jones Jersey , English soccer's national stadium, is only 12 miles across north London from Tottenham.

Wembley will also stage the Oct. 21 game between the Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Chargers, and the meeting between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Jacksonville Jaguars a week later.

Tottenham's new stadium, which is built on the site of the now-demolished White Hart Lane stadium, was designed as much for soccer as American football. The grass soccer pitch can be retracted and kept under lights below the stands when the artificial surface is required for the NFL. The dressing rooms can also cope with NFL teams without adjustments.

The NFL won't say if the 10-year contract at Tottenham only officially starts when the stadium is ready to stage games.

"We totally understand the issue," Mark Waller, the NFL's executive vice president of international Darian Thompson Jersey , said. "We shall continue to work with them towards making our future games at Spurs a huge success. The new stadium will be an amazing venue for the NFL and we are very excited about our long-term partnership with Tottenham Hotspur."

Tottenham has been forced to continue playing home games at Wembley after its new home wasn't ready for this month's Premier League season start.

"Urgent follow-up meetings with (construction firm) Mace and the trade contractors are now taking place," the club said in a statement. "We are reviewing the situation and planned timetable to rectify and re-test, after which we shall be in a better position to outline a revised timetable."

Tottenham has postponed test events that were planned for Aug. 27 and Sept. 1. They are yet to be rescheduled so local authorities can decide whether to grant the stadium with a safety certificate.

Tottenham will now have to play at least three home league games at Wembley. The club said the venue for home games in the Champions League group stage, which starts in September, will have to be "determined following discussions" with tournament organizer UEFA.

"At the start of the project we asked for your support during what we knew would be a complex and challenging build and now we ask for your continued patience and forbearance," Levy said in a message to fans.
